Leasing & Application

Berkshire Preserve has one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartment floor plans available for rent.
All applications are completed online through the resident portal. Once submitted, screening begins after required information is received and reviewed.
Applicants must demonstrate a gross monthly income of at least 2.5 times the rent, along with standard credit and background screening.
Yes, guarantors are accepted if income requirements are not met, but they must meet their own income qualifications and complete an application.
It is recommended to apply as soon as possible, as availability can change quickly.
Many apartments include washer/dryer connections, with select units offering in-home washer and dryer setups.

Amenities & Community Features

The community includes amenities such as a Wi-Fi café, business center, EV charging stations, and resident lounge spaces.

Yes, EV charging stations are available on-site for residents.
Yes, residents have access to lounge areas designed for relaxation and social gatherings.

Location & Neighborhood

The area features residential neighborhoods with convenient access to shopping, dining, and daily essentials.
Yes, the location provides convenient access to major highways for commuting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Pet Policy

The community allows up to two pets per apartment, with breed restrictions applying to certain dog types.

The Berkshire Preserve community is pet-friendly with restrictions and fees. There is no weight limit. The following breeds are generally prohibited: 

  • Akita 
  • American Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier (aka Pit Bull) 
  • Presa Canario 
  • Chow Chow 
  • Doberman Pinscher 
  • German Shepherd 
  • Great Dane 
  • All Husky & Malamute breeds 
  • Rottweiler 
  • Wolf/Restricted breed mix 

Management must approve all animals. Lease holders and applicable occupants are required to complete a Pet Screening Profile. See our pet friendly page for more details.

Yes, service animals are exempt from breed restrictions and are always permitted.

Tours & Office Information

Residents and prospects can schedule escorted or self-guided tours through the online scheduling system. Virtual tours are not offered at this time.

The office is closed 9-6 Monday through Friday, 10-5 Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Tours can be scheduled online through the community’s official tour scheduling platform.

Renewals & Lease Changes

Renewal offers are sent about 75 days before lease expiration via email and appear in the resident portal.
After selecting a renewal term, the leasing team prepares the renewal agreement for signature.
Yes, multiple lease term options are typically provided during the renewal process.
You'll receive an email notification and can also view renewal options in the resident portal.

Resident Services & Maintenance

Requests can be submitted via phone, email, in person, or through the resident portal.
Routine maintenance is generally completed within 1–2 business days.
Urgent issues should be reported immediately by calling the office for priority assistance.
Yes, the community performs bi-annual preventative maintenance inspections.

Policies & Community Guidelines

No, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.
Management contacts involved parties and may involve the courtesy officer or authorities if needed.
Guest vehicles must be registered and can typically stay for up to three consecutive days.
No, partial payments are not accepted under community policy.
